2012 Japan-America Grassroots Summit

Join the Fun! Volunteer!

The Japan-America Grassroots Summit will bring together 150-200 Japanese visitors with as many host families in 15 cities across North Texas. Richardson is one of them.

Participants will experience Texas culture from its cowboy heritage to its stellar achievements in arts, business, sports, and education. Texas friendliness and hospitality are legendary. Altrusa International, Inc. of Richardson, TX invites you to share the love for your City and State.

Altrusans are needed to help welcome the City's guests and to assist with the progressive dinner:
  • Thursday, August 30: Welcome Reception
    decorate the room, greet, serve refreshments, clean up
  • Saturday, September 1: Dinner & Art Showcase
    prepare food, serve
